Easter in Clarington

It’s that time of year again, when Spring has arrived and the Easter bunny is on his way. Stay busy and discover Easter fun for the whole family in Clarington from March 25th-27th!

Pingle’s Farm Market Easter Egg Hunt and Scavenger Hunt
Friday March 25th, Saturday March 26th, and Sunday March 27th
10:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m

Easter Egg Hunt – Recommended for ages 1 to 6. Families start the day’s activities at admissions, where they will purchase their ticket. Children will begin their hunt by decorating their Easter egg basket in the greenhouse. Families will enjoy the tractor wagon ride (weather permitting) to go and see the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs. Children will trade their plastic eggs for a special treat in the greenhouse and plant a seed to take home for their garden.

Scavenger Hunt – Recommended for ages 7 to 12. Families start the day’s activities at admissions, where they will purchase their ticket and receive their scavenger hunt passport and map. Children will proceed to the greenhouse where they will create an Easter craft. Families will ride the wagon (weather permitting) to their first scavenger hunt station. Children will follow the clues placed around the farm. When their passport is complete, they can submit their completed answers for a special treat!

There is a charge for each person participating in any of the Easter activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children’s Admission – $10.00 per child (HST included)

Adult Admission – $7.00 per person (HST included)

The market and bakery are open during the Easter weekend activities, we will have barbecue available with fresh baking and gifts.

Just a reminder to guests of Pringle’s that their farm is a working farm. Portions of the Easter egg hunt and scavenger hunt are held outside, making them governed by the day’s weather conditions. 4th Annual Newcastle BIA Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

Port of Newcastle Waterfront Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday March 26th
10:00 a.m.

Meet at the Port of Newcastle Waterfront at 10 a.m. to participate in this Easter Egg Hunt. Contact the Port of Newcastle Marina for more details (905) 987-5251.

Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority’s Maple Syrup Day
Saturday, March 26th
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Take a break from hunting for eggs and attend Maple Syrup Day in the Ganaraska Forest. Through site tours, demonstrations, stories and games, learn all about the sweet tradition of syrup production with the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority. Let the kids create crafts and have their faces painted, while you enjoy live music and a pancake feast in the Great Hall of the Ganaraska Forest Centre.

Orono BIA Easter Egg Hunt

Join in the fun and participate in the Orono Easter Egg Hunt. Meet on the front lawn of the Orono Library at 10 a.m. to participate.


Easter Eggstravaganza at the Courtice Flea Market
Sunday March 27th
9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Kids hunt for chocolate Easter eggs in our Straw Castle! Cousin Courtice will be on hand to help you find your treats!
