Here are some of our favourite ideas to help you fall for Clarington.
Go Apple Picking
Clarington is home to many unique orchards and markets. Take your family to one of our popular orchards, such as at Watson’s Farms or Archibald Orchards to pick-your-own; or buy fresh local apples at one of the many markets along the way.
Here’s a list of some of the Farm Fresh markets along the way: http://www.clarington.net/en/tourism/farm-fresh.asp
If you want to extend your farm fresh experience, try picking your own pumpkins! Hop aboard a wagon ride at Knox’s Pumpkin Farm or Pingle’s Farm Market. They are the perfect place to spend a day with your family, choosing that ideal pumpkin for your porch.
Enjoy a Scenic Drive
Spend a crisp fall afternoon enjoying the rural sights along Clarington’s countryside. On September 24 & 25 take a drive along A Country Path and enjoy the Fall Harvest Driving Tour. Take in the gorgeous scenery, and don’t forget to stop by Tyrone Mills Ltd. for an apple cider donut!
